Did you know that the FDA has released a Public Health Advisory Warning of "serious side effects" including the risk of a heart attack and stroke for those using the drug ZELNORM. The medication has now been withdrawn, at the request of the US Food and Drug Administration, Zelnorm, an irritable bowel syndrome drug manufactured by Swiss drugmaker Novartus AG, was recently recalled from the market. The drug was approved in 2002 by the FDA, this drug was later linked to statistically significant numbers of adverse side effects, including heart problems, stroke and, in one case, a death.
