Police and fire units responded to a three-vehicle crash at the intersection of <\/span>N. University Dr. and E. Austin Street<\/span>. According to a press release from the <\/span>Nacogdoches Police Department<\/span>, the accident happened at 6:07 p.m. Tuesday.<\/span><\/p>\n

The investigation revealed that a <\/span>GMC Canyon pickup driven by<\/span> Zachary Cleveland<\/span><\/a> of Nacogdoches was northbound on N. University and collided with a westbound <\/span>Volkswagen car driven by<\/span> Margaret Naranjo<\/span><\/a>, also of Nacogdoches. The collision sent both vehicles northbound, colliding with a <\/span>Ford Ranger pickup, <\/span>driven by<\/span> Lucresha Phillips<\/span><\/a>, a resident of Nacogdoches.<\/span><\/p>\n

The release said Cleveland and Phillips were uninjured in the accident, however <\/span>Naranjo suffered serious injuries <\/span>and was transported to <\/span>Nacogdoches Memorial <\/span>Hospital, and then later flown to a Tyler hospital.\u00a0 Her condition is unknown at this time.<\/span><\/p>\n
