It happened about 2:45 a.m. Wednesday in the westbound lanes of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.khou.com\/article\/news\/local\/hpd-1-person-dead-in-overnight-crash-involving-tow-truck-on-beltway-8\/285-3c23f71a-7339-4fb5-a0b2-a34086edf646\">Sam Houston Parkway Beltway 8 near John F. Kennedy Blvd.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.khou.com\/article\/news\/local\/hpd-1-person-dead-in-overnight-crash-involving-tow-truck-on-beltway-8\/285-3c23f71a-7339-4fb5-a0b2-a34086edf646\">23-year-old driver<\/a> of a Chevy Tahoe was trapped inside their vehicle due to the accident and according to police, was pronounced dead at the scene.
