The accident happened Monday night at around 10 PM on Loop 1604 near Farm-to-Market 1346. The cause of the accident is still under investigation, and deputies reported that a red pick-up truck crashed head-on with a black Sedan. It is unclear who is at fault at this time. One person was pronounced dead at the scene, and another was transported to the hospital with a broken leg but no life-threatening injuries.
