San Antonio Zoo Sued for Over 1 million<\/h2>\n

A San Antonio family has filed a negligence claim against the San Antonio Zoological Society after a tree limb fell on them, causing their young daughter a traumatic brain injury (TBI) and leaving her in a coma for several days, according to a San Antonio Express-News report<\/a>. According to premises liability law<\/a>, businesses are required to ensure that their grounds are free of hazards for invitees and licensees. The claim filed by Librado and Crystal Rodriguez claims that the San Antonio Zoological Society was negligent in this duty and is, therefore, responsible for damages related to the accident.<\/p>\n
