This document places certain guarantees and pledges in writing to the clients of Carabin & Shaw, P.C.  It must first be understood that no Law Firm can or should guarantee the final outcome of a case, nor can a lawyer guarantee that the opposing party or the insurance carriers will act appropriately or with respect.  However, we believe that our lawyers and staff members can and should guarantee that they will treat our clients’ fairly and with the utmost respect and understanding.  Accordingly we herein pledge the following:

WE GUARANTEE THAT ALL INITIAL CONSULTATIONS WILL BE FREE OF CHARGE: Numerous law firms charge individuals a consultation fee, regardless of whether the individual retains the law firm.  Our Law Firm understands that one’s personal finances may be an issue, thus we guarantee that no individual who contacts our Law Firm will be charged an initial consultation fee.

WE GUARANTEE THAT NO ATTORNEYS FEES OR EXPENSES WILL BE CHARGED TO THE CLIENT, UNLESS WE OBTAIN AN ACCEPTABLE SETTLEMENT OR A TRIAL VERDICT: Many lawyers require a retainer or up front money from their clients.  Our Law Firm understands that the availability of money or lack thereof can present issues, thus our Firm will not charge a client any fee or expense on injury cases until an acceptable monetary settlement or trial verdict is obtained.  This policy is not applicable on criminal law matters, family law matters, divorces, immigration or other non personal injury law matters.

WE GUARANTEE THAT WE WILL RETURN YOUR PHONE CALLS: Everyone has heard stories of lawyers not returning the client’s phone calls. This is unacceptable and disrespectful to the client. Our Firm has mandated for years that our staff members and attorneys return phone calls. We are now taking this internal Firm policy further. We now guarantee to our personal injury clients that their calls will be returned within one business day or up to $20.00 in total will be added to the client’s net accepted settlement or trial verdict.

WE GUARANTEE THAT WE WILL COME TO YOU IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO COME TO US: Our Law Firm is a little different than some, we are concerned about personal service. And if you or a family member have suffered a severe personal injury and are unable to travel to our offices for an initial meeting, we will come to you. 

WE WILL ATTEMPT TO HELP YOU SECURE A RENTAL CAR: One of the earliest challenges an individual faces after an auto accident is obtaining a rental vehicle.  Our Law Firm will attempt to help you secure a rental vehicle.  Specifically, if we accept the case, the police report confirms that the other driver is at fault and had insurance and your vehicle is not drivable, then we will attempt to assist you with securing a rental vehicle for a minimum of three days.
    
WE GUARANTEE THAT WE WILL WORK TO ASSIST YOU ON YOUR PROPERTY DAMAGE: Since 1992, we have attempted to help our clients on their property damage claims.  As you may know many personal injury law firms across the State now refuse to lend a helping hand to their clients’ on property damage claims. We don’t think that is right.  Our Law Firm will attempt to assist our client’s on their property damage claims. 

WE GUARANTEE THAT OUR CLIENTS WILL MEET WITH OUR ATTORNEYS: Over the years, we have heard stories of clients who were represented by other law firms, where the client never met their attorney to discuss their pending case.  Not at this Law Firm.  If at any time you want to discuss your pending case with the supervising attorney, all you need to do is ask.  Upon request, an in-person or phone-conference meeting will be scheduled.  We encourage our attorneys and our clients to take the time necessary to ensure that everyone’s questions and concerns are addressed.

OUR GOAL IS COMPLETE CLIENT SATISFACTION: Our Law Firm’s goal is to complete the case with our client being satisfied with the results and with our Law Firm.  Reaching this goal of complete client satisfaction is a challenge and seldom ever discussed by other law firms. However, our Firm has set and announced its goal to deliver client satisfaction.  Our Law Firm will strive to reach and deliver this goal. If for any reason a client is not satisfied with the performance of our Law Firm or the results obtained on his or her case, our Law Firm will schedule a sit down meeting with the client and discuss ways or options to resolve the issues or concerns of the client. 

WE HEREIN PLEDGE TO ALL OF OUR CLIENTS - that all of our attorneys and staff members will act in accord with the rules and regulations of the State Bar of Texas to best serve our clients.  It is understood that no lawyer is allowed to guarantee the final results of a case.  However, we believe all lawyers should treat their clients with the utmost fairness, understanding and respect. That is why we believe that choosing the Carabin & Shaw Law Firm is the best decision.
