Early-Morning 18-Wheeler Accident Leaves Woman Trapped in Vehicle

According to a KSAT News report, a woman was trapped in her vehicle after an early-morning 18-wheeler accident on the Far West Side.

Police reported the accident occurred at around 6:20 a.m. this morning on US Highway 90 Westbound and Mechlar Road headed towards Castroville. Details about what caused the crash were not provided, nor the condition of the drivers involved. Sheriffs only reported that a woman was trapped in her vehicle after a collision with an 18-wheeler and had to be extracted by firefighters. One lane of the highway was shut down due to the incident.
