Why: The Plastic zip tie included in the kit can become brittle and break, posing a tip-over and entrapment hazard to children.

Remedy:

Consumers should contact American Bolt and Screw to get a free replacement tip-over restraint kit. All known purchasers are being contacted directly by American Bolt and Screw. Consumers can contact Rooms to Go for assistance in determining whether their chest or dresser came with the affected tip-over restraint kit. Keep children away from the unit while waiting for a replacement tip kit. Consumers should dispose of the recalled tip-over restraint in their household trash once they have installed the replacement tip-over restraint.

Glow Stick/Glasses Party Pack from Leetous

What: Glow Sticks and Glasses Party Pack Toys sold on Amazon.com

Why: Battery violates federal safety standards, posing a burn, choking, and poisoning risk to children.

Injuries: None

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled glow sticks and glasses and take them away from children. Consumers should remove the batteries in the glow sticks and party glasses immediately and contact Leetous for information on how to dispose of the product for a full refund. Leetous and Amazon are contacting all known purchasers directly.

Safetussin Max Strength Multi-Symptom Cough, Cold, and Flu Tablets

What: Safetussin Max Strength Multi-Symptom Cough, Cold, and Flu tablets sold at HEB, other regional grocery stores, and independently owned pharmacies.

Why: Violating federal safety packaging standards for medicine containing acetaminophen. Packaging is not child-resistant and poses a risk of poisoning if swallowed by a child.

Injuries: None

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately secure the product out of the sight and reach of children and contact Kramer Laboratories (800-824-4894) for information on how to return or dispose of the product for a full refund. Only the packaging is being recalled, not the medicine itself, but both should be disposed of.

Wireless Portable Power Banks from Casely

What: Casely Wireless Portable Power Banks sold at getcasely.com, Amazon.com, and other online retailers.

Why: The lithium-ion battery in the recalled power banks can overheat and ignite, posing fire and burn hazards to consumers.

Injuries: 6 reported

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled wireless portable power banks and contact Casely for a free replacement. To receive the free replacement, consumers should go to the firm’s website, fill out the online form, and submit two photographs; one should be the front of the power bank with the word “Recalled” on it and the date written in permanent marker. The second photograph should have the model number on it, which is located on the back of the power bank. Then, upload the photos to the firm’s website at https://www.getcasely.com/pages/2025-recall. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled boots and contact The North Face (800-297-9150) for instructions on how to return the boots and receive a full refund in the original form of payment, a gift card, or via check if the purchase was made with cash. After contacting The North Face, consumers will receive a shipping label to return the boots free of charge.
