Police Arrest Man Suspected of Road Rage Shooting

According to a San Antonio Express-News report, Darwin Gamez, 26, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after turning himself in to the police on June 18, 2023. The man he reportedly shot was an unidentified 36-year-old man in a white sedan outside of a car dealership on the 8300 block of Bandera Road, according to the police report. He was wounded in the shoulder and was taken to the hospital in stable condition. Gamez’s bail is set at $75,000, and police are investigating the matter as a possible case of road rage.
