Marijuana

Despite progressive legislation in several states, Marijuana is still very much illegal in Texas and Texas law can subject individuals to extremely harsh punishments. The Texas Health and Safety Code sets out the legal penalties for those individuals arrested for marijuana offenses. The punishment range for even a small amount of marijuana, zero to two ounces, allows for the possibility of jail.

As with any other type of drug offense, it is important to note that the Government cannot systematically disregard your rights and legal procedure to find marijuana. It is important to have an attorney that knows your rights and is willing to protect you from government over-reach in its war on drugs.

If you or a family member have been arrested for any amount of Marijuna, contact the attorneys at Carabin Shaw for a vigorous defense to Marijuana Charges.
