A 22-year-old man is dead after being hit head-on by a wrong-way driver at around 1 a.m. on May 30, 2023, according to a San Antonio Express-News report. The former news anchor was pulled over by police and arrested for reckless driving on January 27, 2023, after they received reports of a driver crawling down the road at 20 MPH and making frequent stops. The report further detailed that he struggled through a field sobriety test and was unable to recite the alphabet when requested. Vials of blood were drawn as the officers were unable to retrieve a breath sample.
